CONCERT LIVE...I MEAN LIFE. - Thirty Seconds To Mars

Concerts are amazing way to meet with people who share the same music taste as you. But Thirty Seconds To Mars' concerts are a lot more than that. Echelon is a different kind of fans. We're not just fans, we're not just people who listen to the same band. It's a community. It's a family. A bunch of crazy humans, which are as crazy as you. You can wait for the concert in a crowd full of them, and even if you went there alone, the moment you see the Echelon you're not longer alone. Every Echelon will tell you the same if you ask what Echelon actually is. Even band members (Jared Leto, Shannon Leto, Tomo Milicevic) will.

My best friendships started like that. I've met my friend Natalie on VyRT, an online platform where 30STM chat with their fans and share videos or play live, online shows. I started chatting with her and that's how we met. It turned out we live nearby, and we went to our first Mars concert together. It was in 2013. In 2014 we decided to go to their next concert in Poland, where we met our next friend - Madeline. Now, in 2015, Thirty Seconds To Mars announced next show in our country, this time in Gdańsk. It was obvious we'll go together. And we did.

It was necessary to stay in Gdańsk for a few days, so we rented an apartment in the centre of the city. We were sure the band will stay in Hilton, and it was pretty far from us, but it was the only free hotel, so we had no other choice. But when we arrived, we've seen a big crowd next to our apartment's windows. Turned out Mars weren't staying in Hilton - they chose a hotel called Radisson, which was just a few meters away from us. Actually, we shared the same parking.

Suddenly, I decided to check Twitter, which I do few times a day. When I saw photos of Shannon Leto (the drummer) with fans, I almost had a heart attack. I recognized the main street on those photos, and I told the girls we need to go outside and find him. I didn't believe we will, but I'd regret it for the rest of my live If I won't try. We were walking down the street and we didn't see anyone but lots of Echelons and tourists. We decided to go back to the beginning of Długa street and go near the riverside. After ten minutes of searching, I've seen a familiar face. I couldn't believe it - it was Shannon standing outside the restaurant, making selfie with a fan.

When we came closer to him, he already knew what we want to ask about. He smiled to us, hugged me and grabbed me in my waist. I took four photos and said "thank you" to him, because it was all I could think about in thet moment. Then he also made selfies with Madeline and Natalie, said few things to us I can barely remember right now, waved goodbye and went to the restaurant. About two hour later, we've seen him again riding a bike around Gdańsk. He recognized us and said quick "hello", which was super nice. He also posted photos with me on his official Twitter.

The same day we went to Artifact screening (a film about the band and music industry) just to see Jared Leto getting out of a car. We drove to Multikino with two girls we've met in Gdańsk the same day. Then another miracle happened - I've got a chance to meet Jared and take a photo with him. Again, I couldn't believe how lucky I was that day. Jared was wearing a hat and glasses, because his hair are dyed green and he has no eyebrows (he's an actor and he'll play the Joker in upcoming Suicide Squad movie). Anyway, I was so happy by the opportunity to see him this close.

The next day was also fantastic. The concert was, as always, perfect. Everyone had so much fun and it was the best Mars' show I've ever been at.

Also, last week the band showed us a short movie from their visit in Poland. They said that they had a great time here and can't wait to come back.

SEARCH + DESTROY tonight in Poland.

This was the best journey in my life. The journey I will never forget.

And I can't wait for the next one.

CONCERT LIVE...I MEAN LIFE. - Ed Sheeran

Everyone listens to the music. I don't know anyone who doesn't. It's like the most natural and obvious thing in the world.

You can disagree with someone's music taste. Or even when you listen to the same music, you can just don't like this person for some reasons. But when you go to a concert of one of your favourite artists, you suddenly feel this connection between fans and the artist/band and everyone around you seem like your good friends.

If someone would ask you to wait for few hours in cold and crowd, you'd probably refuse. But what if there's an amazing artist that you listen to everytime you're having a bad or a good day, who's always there for you even if only in your earplugs, waits for you on the stage? Well, that's changing your whole perspective.

Probably, there are so many artists you listen to. I bet you'd go to the edge of the Earth just to see them and hear them live. I was very lucky that one of my favourite artist's was "only" 327 km away.

(because I love taking photos of my concert tickets)

Short plan: getting up at 5AM, waiting for my bus, three hours and I'm in Łódź, two more hours and I'm finally in Warsaw. Waiting for my friend to arrive, then going to eat pizza on the other side of the city.  Then again going to her mom's workplace to leave my suitcase, so she can get it to her home. And finally, we're heading to Torwar Hall. It's so early, there's probably not so many people out there. How wrong we were.

There's already a big crowd. Luckily for us, there were my friend's girls waiting and they got us into a begining of the queue. I've met all of them and after a short time we started talking about everything and getting emotional about the concert. I've met my friend that I was about to stay over after the show also during waiting for a concert, but that's another story.

After few hours we're finally there. Golden Circle, near barriers. We managed to smuggle three bottles of water just to don't waste time and be one of the firsts at place.

The support is Ryan Keen - a young singer/songwriter from the UK. He's not very famous yet, but after his performance I don't understand why. He's amazing.

(two of my photos which aren't blurred)

But when he walks away, the tension grows. When we hear the first sounds of I'm A Mess, we're all starting to freak out. When he comes to the stage, we're not in the same world anymore. It's now his world. And we're so close to him!

His voice sounds even better live than in any recordings I've heard. He plays all of my favourite songs, and he does it with such a passion, all by himself. At the beginning he's a bit shy, but when he sees how his fans react, he gains courage.

Everyone sings with him at fast and more like rap songs, for example Don't, and is quiet and enjoys sad, slow songs like One

The crowd rises lighters, phones and flashlights on The A Team, and for a moment I'm thinking they turned on the spotlights.

I was very tired, but I didn't want this concert to end. It obviously did, but after Ed went out of stage, fans sang his last song for over 15 minutes just to make this concert a little longer.

While buying a poster and wristband I've checked his Instagram and he immediately added crowd photo he took during the show with his iPhone. It quickly became my wallpaper.

(I'm somewhere on the left)
After we've got home, I looked through my photos. Some of them were of course blurred (it's really hard to take photo when everyone raises their hands or starts to jump) but there were a few photos that I loved. Also, my friend's photos turned out looking great. Of course our memories are more precious than any photos&videos, but they're also a good reminder of this amazing show.

So if Ed Sheeran will come back to Poland, I'll certainly be there too. And if you have any opportunity to see his performance - do it.

WHAT TELLY TELLS YOU? - Supernatural

Everyone watch tv series if you don't - you're probably lying... or you live in the middle of the woods.
 It's hard to tell...
But hey, it's ok! We thought, that we can make a cycle about series that you may or may not watch.
Enjoy!

#1

Title: Supernatural

Amount of seasons: 10 and still counting...
Year(s) of production: 2005 to present
Creator: Eric Kripke
Genre: drama, fantasy, horror
Stars:

Jensen Ackles aka Dean Winchester
Jared Padalecki aka Sam Winchester

The main idea of the series is two brothers taking over family buisness.

Their father was preparing them for it since their childchood. Boys follow him and become hunters. Not the dull ones, the awesome ones. After disappearance of John (father) all the fun begins. They fight with all kinds of evil creatures including demons, ghosts, gods from mithology, vampires and so on.

Every episode is interesting, in each one the main characters are working on new case. There's a lot of  twists in a plot.

Bad acting.

And that's perfectly correct, because something like that does not exist. Even secondary characters are pretty involved in playing, they act with passion.

While watching Supernatural you'll probably think over your conception of all these situations that made you smile, smirk, gigle or whatever.

Sometimes you'll be forced to watch the most miserable scenes you've ever seen.

Or the most scary...

But there's also loads of love.

And don't you think I'm going to forget about that flirty type!

Oh, and appropriate mix of swearwords and sarcasm.

Another really important thing is music, and i'm going to tell you the music is perfectly matched and it's giving the series more charm in total.

Sum it all up and there it is beautiful baby of american film industry.

I would certainly recommand Supernatural, well not just me, so go watch it if you haven't yet.
